CHANCEL CHOIR

Chancel Choir continues a long tradition of musical excellence, singing each Sunday, September thru May, during the 10:30 morning Worship Service and on special occasions throughout the year.  The choir offers a wide variety of music, from traditional anthems to hymn-based anthems to newly-released contemporary pieces.  Cantatas are offered at Christmas and Easter.  Soloists are frequently used with the choir and additional instruments are often called upon to add yet another dimension.  The musicians feel blessed to be able to use their God-given talents to enhance the worship services.

Vern Fryberger is the director of Chancel Choir. Vern received his B.M.E. and M.M.E. from Fort Hays State University and is Director of Choral Activities at Barton County Community College. The choir is accompanied by Jenny Allford. Michelle Fryberger is music librarian.
