Chapel
Chapel
Our Chapel is suited for smaller, more intimate gatherings. The focal point is a beautiful circular stained glass window above the altar. The chapel features an electronic organ and comfortable seating for 40 guests.
Sanctuary
Our Sanctuary has a seating capacity of 650, including the balcony area. The setting is very traditional with a center aisle and two side aisles. We have a magnificent pipe organ as well as a beautiful baby grand piano.

Our altar and cross are traditionally kept in positions of prominence as the symbols of the Christian faith. However, the chancel furniture may be rearranged with the permission of the pastor. With stunning stained glass windows and exceptional acoustics, the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary is, indeed, a glorious place for a wedding.

SCHEDULE
Weddings are normally scheduled for Saturdays, before seven in the evening, with the rehearsal on Friday evenings. We do not schedule weddings on Sundays, secular or Christian holidays, or during Holy Week. Pastor Gary Brooks is in charge of scheduling and presiding in all weddings held at First Church. With the approval of Pastor Gary, a guest minister may be invited to assist in the ceremony.
MUSIC
The music for a wedding should reflect the Christian joy of a couple dedicating their lives to one another in the sight of God. Our musicians are familiar with a wide variety of music, and will be happy to assist the bride and the groom in finding sacred music which reflects the couple's unique feelings, yet upholds the integrity of the worship service. All musical selections will be discussed with and approved by the church musicians or pastor. Vocal soloists or instrumentalists are asked to arrange a rehearsal time with the accompanist. The soloist must have the music prepared before the rehearsal and should bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist. Well qualified guest organists may play for weddings at the discretion of our church organist.

RECEPTIONS - Fellowship Hall
We have additional space for reserving your reception in our Fellowship Hall. This facility can handle up to 250 guests. This facility includes a fully functional kitchen and caterers are always welcome. However, smoking or alcohol are not allowed on the premises.
